Well, gang, we got the paintings loaded and delivered to Bass last weekend! It's always an adventure to pack up the big paintings and haul across town in the big yellow truck. Installing the show went great!  Bass has an excellent hanging system which accommodates the work very well.  Many thanks to Emily Kelly and her crew for help and insights in getting the show hung successfully.

Gearing up for hanging the show at Bass Concert Hall!  It's such a huge honor to have my work up in this beautiful space. There will be five large paintings up on each side, house left and right, of the theater where patrons come and go from their seats.  The lighting, walls and hanging system are excellent for presenting the work.  I was first contacted in June of this year about staging an exhibition at Bass. So much has been accomplished since then in preparation for the exhibit.  I am very grateful to all who have helped along the way.

For the past three years, Austin Art Boards, sponsored by Reagan Outdoor Advertising, has selected 10 fortunate artists to have their artwork prepared on billboards and put on rotation around the great city of Austin, Texas. The billboards are rotated when space is sold so artists don't know when or where their billboard will pop up next until it happens. My mom had a pleasant surprise recently upon arriving at Garden Ridge in SW Austin when she happened to look up and quite unexpectedly saw my billboard close by on the access road.
